James Roberts (he/him) has been tattooing for over ten years in the city of Pittsburgh. He started working in the tattooing field at fifteen doing cleaning and general front counter duties.

James is the co-owner of 1867 Tattoo Co. alongside his fiancé Casie and their adorable puppies Rory & Rosie. They have been living in Bellevue for seven years and were excited to bring more to the community.

He is best known for incredibly detail-oriented work featuring an illustrative style utilizing dot-work and intricate lines. He specializes in custom botanical, landscape, and anatomical tattoos. James works mostly with black and white ink. He uses minimal color to create ornate and dynamic pieces, ranging from delicate dot work to bold black-work.
